In 2010 our class developed a popular alternative game to teach to some friends in the USA. This was part of the ROCK OUR WORLD project. The game of Handball was very popular in our school and people wanted to know how to play, so with the help of Mrs Power the class created an instructional movie teaching people how to set up and play Handball.
We sent the finished movie to California and the Band Alma Desnuda learnt how to play our version of handball.
From here we found that the childrens movies teaching others to play alternative games started becoming a hit so we developed GameOn Mahitahi. (Mrs Power idea)
2012 was the first year we included classes from local schools to take part in the exchange of instructional games.
